Michigan United is looking for a Criminal Justice Organizer to organize the formerly incarcerated, people directly impacted by the criminal justice system, and those who have been newly activated by racial justice protests. This position will require you to train and develop leaders and implement campaigns and strategies to reduce or prevent incarceration in Michigan. It will be very important to be able to do this work with a strong racial and gender lens.
Compensation: Michigan United is targeting a salary range of $85,000 - $100,000, commensurate on the candidate’s skills and experiences.

The ED will have a demonstrated track record in advancing these values both internally within the organization, as well as externally in the larger community. The ED will also support, sustain, and grow a collaborative work environment that attracts and retains a motivated, diverse, and mission-driven staff.
