
New Polling in Michigan Reveals Support for Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda

Today, Real Recovery Now released polling in Michigan revealing support for all elements of the care and infrastructure investments - as well as a path to citizenship- and having them funded through having the rich and big corporations pay their fair share in taxes. People in Michigan are hungry for action on building back better and expect Congress to deliver results. Among the key findings in Michigan were: A majority of Michigan voters support the Build Back Better plan.
70% Support (Total); 86% of Democrats, 54% of Republicans
A majority of Michigan voters agree that investments in caregiving create economic growth.
76% Support (Total); 89% of Democrats, 66% of Republicans
A majority of Michigan voters support the infrastructure investment and jobs act.
71% Support (Total); 88% of Democrats, 54% of Republicans
A majority of Michigan voters support creating a pathway to citizenship.
65% Support (Total); 81% of Democrats, 43% of Republicans
Raising income taxes and capital gains taxes and limiting business tax deductions for the wealthiest Americans are all supported by margins of about +60 points.
Increasing the Internal Revenue Service’s budget is backed by a margin of +53 points.
By a margin of +43 points, voters support increasing the corporate tax rate.
